Combine the boat handling skills of course racing with the navigational expertise and endurance required for long-distance racing. That’s the challenge awaiting participants in the Danish Singlehand Sailing Championships, where both Danes and international sailors will compete side by side. This exciting event is part of the Vegvisir Race Days, and you can participate for just €99!
Event Details:
Organizers: The Championship is organized by Nyborg Sejlforening and the Vegvisir Race Organisation as part of the Vegvisir Race Nyborg in collaboration with the Danish Sailing Association.
Course Racing:
Dates: Thursday, August 29th, and Friday, August 30th.
Location: Nyborg Fjord.
Format: Up/down course with legs approximately 2 nautical miles long.
Long-Distance Coastal Race:
Race: The 90-nautical-mile Vegvisir Race Blue Course.
Start Time: Late Friday afternoon or early evening on August 30th.
Note: Championship participants will have their own start.
Scoring: Results will be determined using a scoring system based on DH corrected time.
DH Measurement Certificate:
