Doublehanded and singlehanded sailors from across Europe have already set their bearings for Nyborg.

With 203 sailors in 109 boats now registered, the Vegvisir Race 2026 fleet is taking shape. If you want to join the Adventure Sail Racing in Danish and German waters, this is your last chance to register with a discount on the entry fee.

Summer Discount ends 10 August

The Summer Discount expires on 10 August after that, registration remains open until 24 August, but at the standard entry fee.

Adventure starts before the start line

260 days alone on his Sagitta 35 - Christian Liebergreen is a true adventure sailor. He shares some of his experiences when he kicks off Vegvisir Race Nyborg with his talk Wednessday evening September 2nd. All participants are invited to join the talk as a part of the Vegivisir Race entry friends and familiy and other interested can buy a ticket for the talk.

The Sailing & Socializing programme kicks off on Wednesday evening, 2 September, when we are proud to present Christian Liebergreen as the Vegvisir Race 2026 keynote speaker.

Christian Liebergreen knows a thing or two about pushing the limits of human endurance.

As a former member of the Danish Sirius Dog Sled Patrol in Greenland, he has experienced some of the most unforgiving conditions on the planet. He later took on the ultimate challenge of sailing non-stop around the world solo, alone at sea for nearly a year with no crew and no one to rely on but himself.

At Vegvisir Race, Christian will share experiences from a life built around adventure, resilience, decision-making and performing when conditions are at their absolute worst.

A story about what happens when there is nowhere to hide, no one to hand over to, and you simply have to keep going.
