Before the first start gun fires, Vegvisir Race 2025 kicks off with a classic harbor-side evening full of value for both mind and body.


On Wednesday, September 3, we invite all participants and guests to join us for:

🍲 Dinner at 18:30 – Served by Nyborg Sailing Club🗣️ Keynote at 20:00 – “Understand the Weather” by Jacob Mouritzen.

Jacob Mouritzen is one of Denmark’s most well-known weather experts – a seasoned meteorologist and TV2’s longtime weather host. On stage in Nyborg Harbour, he’ll share insights that can help you:

  • Improve your pre-race weather briefing skills

  • Anticipate tricky local conditions in the Great Belt and the surrounding fjords

  • Spot developing changes early and adjust your route accordingly

  • Understand what the sky and wind really tell you – in real-time


The dinner ticket costs €20, and all profits go to support youth sailing at Nyborg Sejlforening.

IMPORTANT: The dinner tickets CAN NOT be bought on location so buy NO LATER than August 28 to secure your spot at the dinner table on Wednessday SEPTEMBER 3rd.
