Vegvisir Race Nyborg 2023 takes place from Thursday August 31st. to Saturday September 2nd.
So far 137 boats carrying 28 singlehanded and 218 doublehanded skippers and co-skippers are ready for full moon racing in indian summer conditions 🤞.

Vegvisir Race Nyborg is a well established shorthanded adventure sailracing event. In 2022 gathering well over 350 sailors from all over Europe. In 2023 both singlehanded and doublehanded racing is possible on courses from 78, 167 to 225 nautical miles. All races start in the afternoon and hence include sailing and navigating in the dark autumn nights. The race is governed by the rules of Non Collision, and promotes virtues like fairness, sportsmanship and seaman ship over the competition itself.
Vegvisir Race Nyborg is among the biggest doublehanded long distance sailing event in the world and the third largest regatta in Denmark overall.
Participants gather in Nyborg, the old "Town of Kings" placed in the center of Denmark. This venue is easy accecible by boat, car, plane and train. It is situated under the spectacular Great Belt Bridge - a location that opens for the most challenging and demanding courses imaginable.
